Transplant Comics

I thought i'd make this post for people to post animated gifs of their favourite bear & kitten comics. This is mainly just because i think they're awesome and don't know how to make them myself, but yeah go for it everyone

This is a fantastic idea. Simply fantastic.

Soooo fantastic, in fact, that we are gonna have a contest. The contest will go as follows.

Make an animated gif that is Bear and Kitten related. It can be from our comic or something completely random, so long as it is related to the comic. 10th of May Angie and I will sit down with a box of wine and choose our favorite one, that person will win a prize.

The prize is like....a print or something. Free though. Just for fun.

I will be posting this in tonights update, I hope lots of you join in!

I've been online all morning trying to figure out how to make animated gifs but now i'm working on getting macromedia fireworks cause rumour has it it's easy to make them using that.

You can use The Gimp for creating animated gifs- just place each frame of your animation on a separate level and save as an animated gif.

Already I love this.

Bear and Kitten adapts quite well to the animgif medium. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these.

Can I say that I really joined this forum just now so that I could post one?

That said, I haven't made one before, so it isn't as fancee as I guess it could be?

i'm writing my dissertation right now but i have to say that thinking of this thread is probably better work than my year long dedication to 10k words on foreign films in america.
