Eight Herbs Mountain

This is a little strip I did a few weeks ago, instead of updating with a full page.

It originally said "Ki-Ai" instead of "Ah-Cha," which is probably funnier, but as a reader pointed out, and which I should have realized, Ki Ai is Japanese.

Ha ha, I think "ah-cha" is plenty funny. Better than "ki-ai," in fact.

Best filler I've ever seen.

I also like his expression in the last panel.

So cool!! I really love it about your style how it's over-all pretty much one same (but variable) style- but when you do it quickly it looks cool and casual, and when you take time with details - looks intricate and elaborate!

Thanks everybody! I'm inspired to do more of these.

Only I'm not sure how funny I want/can be. It'd be fun to build Pang's character through this outlet too. So maybe I'll strive for something "thoughtful." Or maybe that's just an excuse for not having to be funny. We'll see I guess.

Just to resurrect at an entirely inappropriate time, but I did find the strip hilarious and thoroughly endorse the potential follow-ups some time in the future.

Thank you for the rez. I have a bunch of ideas for Eight Herbs Mountain, and even a few written strips. Theoretically it's something that'd I'd like to knock out in like 2 hours each week. I guess it's just a question of when I will make the push and get going on it. What I've decided on will have less to do with being a gag kind of thing, although I do want to make it mostly humorous.
